They ruined Manabu in the Zwijo duel and then continued to make a clown out of him for no reason. At this point his character is too late to save so might as well have Yuamu wipe the floor with him so she can get a win i guess since her biggest win was freakin Asaka

Yeah, the Sogetsu characters always get ruined, maybe the writers hate them?

Remember Gakuting vs Providence? That was peak Sogetsu.

Maybe, but Gakuto's character started to get ruined because of it, i mean when Gakuto went Gakuting against Neil, Rinnosuke told Gakuto that he brought shame to the Sogetsu name/clan and then there was a flashback about Gakugen, the ancestor of Gakuto and Manabu and then Gakuto went back to his usual self.
when Gakuto lost his memory, he was strict and was against Rush Duels because of their rules and when he and Rinnosuke had a Rush Duel, Rinnosuke told him that its OK to have fun and "break the rules" and then there was a flashback about Gakugen doing a weird dance and acting like a fool in order to save himself from a potential war.
so we got 2 different flashbacks about Gakugen and everytime Gakuto did something, Rinnosuke told him to act differently.
how Manabu's character was ruined is well known so i'm not gonna bother to write about that.

Idk making mistakes is part of growing up, seems reasonable to me.

Tremolo and Dinois are probably similar to The☆Lugh and Alfred, their bodies are back to normal.

They weren't originally cards, they were turned into cards by the relic. Also, I can't seem to shake the feeling that something weird happened to Dinois and Tremolo.

The last arc of SEVENS was about restoring memories and the last arc of Go Rush is about restoring personalities.
and the last scene of the new ending song is similar to a scene from the fourth ending of ARC-V and the second ending of SEVENS.
